hey there!

Meet Sabrina.

Sabrina Smith, LCSW-S is the founder of Sabrina Smith Therapy PLLC, a virtual private practice dedicated to helping adults understand the patterns that keep them overthinking, over-functioning, people-pleasing, and holding everything together on the outside while feeling anxious, disconnected, or overwhelmed on the inside. Drawing from a warm, relational, and integrative approach, Sabrina weaves together Attachment-informed therapy, parts work, Interpersonal Neurobiology (IPNB), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Psychodynamic therapy to help clients better understand their inner world, relationship patterns, protective strategies, and emotional needs. She believes that healing doesn’t happen through judgment, pressure, or force, but through slowing down, getting curious, and creating enough safety for something new to emerge.

My Approach

My approach begins with compassionate listening and genuine care. I believe therapy offers a space where the parts of you that have longed to be seen can finally be witnessed with tenderness, curiosity, and respect. From there, change doesn’t have to be forced. It can unfold slowly, honestly, and in connection.

Background & Services

Sabrina is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker-Supervisor and has worked in the field since 2013. Her background includes foster care, school-based services, psychiatric hospitals, community mental health, group practice, and private practice. Each of these settings has deepened her respect for the ways people survive, adapt, and long for something more supportive, connected, and whole.

She supports adults navigating anxiety, self-doubt, people-pleasing, perfectionism, relationship struggles, emotional overwhelm, and the lingering impact of childhood emotional neglect, with a focus on building more connection, clarity, and self-trust.

Sabrina offers individual therapy for adults, clinical case consultation for therapists at various stages of their careers, and supervision for LMSWs in Texas. Her therapy practice is virtual, and she currently supports clients located in Texas, Florida, Colorado, South Carolina, Idaho, and Vermont.
