hey there!
Meet Maggie.
Maggie Weisenberger, LCSW, RYT is the founder of Wise Zen Therapy, a private practice located in Westlake dedicated to helping individuals heal from trauma and find relief from anxiety. Drawing on a integrative, whole-person approach, Maggie weaves together evidence-based and somatic modalities including EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Sound Therapy, Yoga Therapy, Auricular Acupuncture, Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy, and Animal-Assisted Therapy to meet each client exactly where they are. She believes that healing isn't one-size-fits-all, and her work reflects a deep commitment to creating a safe, compassionate space where lasting transformation becomes possible.
My Approach
My approach is integrative and trauma-informed, rooted in psychodynamic theory with a strong emphasis on the body. I primarily work with EMDR and Internal Family Systems (IFS), and I also incorporate Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy, yoga therapy, sound therapy, 5-needle auricular acupuncture, Reiki, and animal-assisted therapy into my work. I specialize in trauma and anxiety, and I believe healing happens on more than just a cognitive level — it involves the nervous system, the body, and the whole person.
I blend evidence-based clinical practice with complementary modalities like astrology, Reiki, and tarot, which I use as supportive tools rather than primary treatment. My goal is to meet each client where they are and offer a path to healing that honors both the mind and the body.
